Hi! I'm Sonia!
I've been a quilt pattern designer for nine years having patterns published in popular Quilting magazines such as Love Patchwork & Quilting, Quilt Now and Mollie Makes, and decided to make a go of pursuing a creative business in November 2017.
After a year of things going okay, I decided to go back to the beginning: with over eighteen years experience in marketing and research I used these skills to work out the best ways of setting up an online creative business to be successful and that balanced with a busy family life that included three young children at the time.
Setting up the foundations of my business so well in the beginning means that even when not working during the summer holidays, I'm still growing and making sales.
In the early stages, I was looking at different ways I could earn money that would be semi-passive (I was also trying to balance a busy family with three young children!), wasn't expensive to set-up and would be able to grow with me.
Affiliate Marketing ticked all these boxes: I was already writing articles for my blog and being asked what I used by my readers, so why not use affiliate links and get paid by a company for recommending them?!
But when I started, Affiliate Marketing was a little overwhelming.....
